After 30 years of Pastoral Ministry. . .
David was born in a Christian home with believing parents who took him to church almost every Sunday. Hearing the Word of God preached every Sunday by faithful men of God was a regular event in his life. During a missions conference in eighth grade, he committed his life to full-time Christian service. During his college years, he met his wife Kathy. They married and ventured off to seminary life. Upon seminary graduation, he entered the pastorate and spent 30 years pastoring in three different churches. Now he enters a new phase of ministry as short or long term pulpit supply preacher. David and Kathy attend and are members of Calvary Baptist Church in Highland where David now pastors. David enjoys the empty nest life with his wife Kathy. They have four married children and thirteen (and counting) grandchildren. They live about five minutes from the Lake Michigan Beaches in northwest Indiana. They both enjoy these beaches as reflected in several pictures.
